How to add a news category?

Step 1 — Open the Involv Manager

Start by navigating to the Involv Manager in your left navigation.

Step 2 — Manage Content

Click Manage Content to access all content-related settings.

Step 3 — Open News Categories

Select News Categories from the list.

Step 4 — Add a News Category

Click Add a News Category.

Step 5 — Confirm creation

Select Add to create a new category entry.

Step 6 — Edit the category

Click into the newly created category to configure its name.

Step 7 — Save the category

Click Save to store your new news category.

Step 8 — Start using your category

Open the Content Admin panel and select Create news.

Step 9 — Assign your new category

In the Content Category field, select the newly created category (e.g., "Company").

Your new category is now ready to be used across your intranet.
