Your navigation is key to helping users find their way around your intranet. With Involv, you can easily add or change menus, insert new levels, change icons, and even set up a mega menu. This guide walks you through each step using an interactive demo and clear instructions.

🚀 Start with Navigation Management
1. Open the Navigation Manager

Click on the gear icon to open Configuration

Select Manage under the Navigation section

You’ll now see a list of all existing navigations
2. Add a New Navigation

Click Add
-
Give your navigation a name
-
Click Save to confirm
🧱 Add Items to Your Navigation
3. Add a Menu Item

Back in the Navigation list, click Manage next to the one you just created

Click the + icon to add a new item
-
Choose the element you want to link to (e.g., a page or external link)

Click Add, then Save
4. Repeat to Add More Items
You can continue adding more items or rearrange them if needed.
Click any item to edit it or to nest it under another item for hierarchy.

5. Change Labels and Icons

Click the element you'd like to edit

Use the Change option to adjust the label

Click Icon to select a visual icon for the item

🔁 Don’t Forget to Clear Cache
After making changes, go to Configuration > Clear Cache to ensure all users see the updated navigation.

Select an existing menu item

Click Add to create a sub-item

You can nest items several levels deep to create a full mega menu

Click Save after every change
