How to configure custom filters in the newsletter builder?

In this article you will learn how to easily configure additional or edit existing filters in your Newsletter tool

When building a newsletter, you can define different custom filters to import specific articles.

For example, if you want to create a newsletter that includes only articles from the HR Department or the IT Department, you can configure filters in your Newsletter component to easily import the relevant content.

Follow these steps to set up custom filters:

  1. Open Involv Manager and select Newsletter under the heading Manage Content.

  2. Open the newsletter page in edit mode and edit the properties of the Newsletter Builder.

  3. Click the Manage Custom Filters button.

  4. Add any additional filters you need by creating custom queries using managed properties such as:

    • InvolvCategoryOWSCHCS

    • Department

    • ContentType

    • Path

    • or other relevant managed properties.

  5. Decide if you want this filter to be checked by default
