How to Enable/Configure Mobile Notifications

Mobile notifications allow users to receive real-time updates directly on their mobile devices. This guide walks you through enabling and configuring mobile notifications for your Involv environment.

Step 1: Access Configurations

  1. Navigate to your Involv Admin panel or Editor view.

  2. Click on the Configurations section of the page or component you want to enable notifications for.


Step 2: Enable the Feature

  1. Locate the Notification Center setting.

  2. Switch the toggle button to On to enable the feature.


Step 3: Add the Mobile Key

  1. The Mobile Key is required for sending notifications to mobile devices.

  2. If you do not have your mobile key please contact your Involv support contact

  3. Enter the Mobile Key in the designated field in your Involv component.

 


Step 4: Enable Mobile Notifications

  1. In the Properties of the Involv Component, enable Mobile Notifications.

Step 5: Configure Additional Options

  1. Set Mobile Channels as Default:

    • This ensures notifications are sent to mobile devices by default.

     

  2. Enable custom Post URL (deprecated)
