Mix Content and People search results

We are able to mix people and content search result by default Sharepoint configuration.

  1. Create a custom Result Source (nl: Resultaatbronnen) in Sharepoint Admin Center → Search

  2. This setup:
    This is the query I used:
    {?{searchTerms} ContentClass=urn:content-class:SPSPeople} {?OR (({searchTerms}) ContentSource:"Sharepoint Content")}

    You can find the ID of the result source in the url.

  3.  Add a search on a page and paste the Source Id of your new content source.
