Styling Impact From Recent Microsoft SharePoint Updates

Microsoft has rolled out platform-level changes to SharePoint that affect how custom CSS is rendered across sites. For Involv customers, this means some styling rules that previously worked may now display incorrectly or have no effect.

What You Might See

  • Article page titles appearing in a darker color instead of white
  • Pagination numbers on article feeds showing in an unexpected color
  • Extra site header bars becoming visible where they were previously hidden

How We're Handling It

General layout issues (like the extra header bars) are covered under your Involv software assurance. These will be resolved through standard Involv updates. If you need an immediate fix before the next update, we can apply a temporary styling patch — please note that this is billed as additional work.

Custom styling issues require individual CSS adjustments specific to your intranet. Because these fall outside the scope of standard updates, this work is always billed separately. We'll confirm the scope and estimate with you before any work begins.

What To Do Next

If you're experiencing any of these issues, reach out to your Involv contact or open a support ticket. We'll assess which category your issue falls into and get you sorted quickly. - Request support ticket
