Involv onboarding (Beta)
We will have a look at how to setup HR onboarding
There are 3 views inside HR onboarding. The Admin panel Is the web part where you as the admin can setup and add all people involved in HR Onboarding. On one side it is adding Users. The user are the persons who need to manage their user tasks in the User Tasks panel. These tasks help our employees with a proper onboarding. The employee will receive access to the employee dashboard. Here he or she will have a view of all tasks that need to be completed.
HR Onboarding Admin Panel
The Involv admin panel is a Web part you can add on your site. With this Web part you can set up all parameters regarding the HR Onboarding in the backend.
Everything you can do on the Admin Panel:
This will be the view for your admin to add Employees, Profiles, Sections, Steps, Users & User Tasks.

What to do in the Admin panel
Users
Create a User
The user is a person that is assigned with onboarding your employees. They have to do their tasks so that your employees are properly onboarded. ex. ICT, HR,...
This tutorial also shows

User Tasks
You can create user Task as an admin. Start by going to the tab User Tasks.
Here you see the list of Tasks. Follow the tutorial to create your own task.
Tasks have the option to contain different Step types:
- File
- Video
- Sign
- Text
- ToDo
- Form
Create Steps
Steps are all the small parts an employee has to do to complete a section.
While: Setup desk is a section, the steps could be:
- Receive PC
- Setup account
- Mouse, keyboard,
- Assign desk
Create Sections
Sections are the groups of steps that need to be completed.
Create profiles
Profiles are the types of employees you can have in your company. Add as many profiles as there are different types of onboarding. You will assign your Sections (containing steps) to your profiles.
In a later stage you then asign a profile to an employee you create.
Create new employee
Onboarding a new employee
An employee can be in different states of creation/onboarding.
After creating the employee in the onboarding setup. The user has status Draft
press "Start preboarding"
After selecting the start preboard option. The status will become Preboarding
Any tasks the users have to do in preparation will be available in their dashboard. The next option is to invite the employee
The employee will now receive a login link to the onboarding page via the email you used during the creation setup of the employee.
Status changes to Invited
User panel
In the userpanel your users can complete tasks so that the employee has everything ready for when he or she needs to start onboarding. Users like HR or IT could have access to this panel.
The goal of this panel is to have a clear view what your ToDo's are for different employees.
Adding the User dashboard panel
1. Add a new web part

2. Select the Involv User Dashboard

3. As the final step, click on "Republish".

Completing a User Task
- Not Started
- In Progress
- Completed
These are also different views that can be selected.

Employee panel
The Employee panel is the final view. This is the view the person who is starting at your company will see.
Sections:
Amount of steps inside these sections:
