Template

You can have many different templates to choose from. Some of Involv examples:

When enabled, you can also increase or decrease the padding

This will be the number of news items shown at once.

Be mindfull not to display too many articles at once. An overload is never good

Show search box

When enabling search box you add a search at the top of the display.

You can search using keywords and easily find the item you are looking for.

All items in the red rectangle is whats displayed when "show call to action" is enabled. These are quick links/actions you can do for certain users.

When this is enabled when the user clicks on the link you will open the news item in a new tab

When "Show paging" is enabled you have the possibility to go to a next page:

When you have a Carousel style template enabled, you can delay the timing of when the next news item appears.

This displays the previously set categories for your items

The "Show subscribed content" adds a filter to the display of the news items. Every user can set his own preference/personal categories in the notifiaction menu.

This ads arrows to your carousel so you can also manually navigate the carousel

This option can only be enabled after the option "Show categories" is on. This adds a link to every category that is displayed and makes it clickable

The link redirects to the news page with the filter already selected.

More explanations on this subject

When you enable this it changes the way Office documents are opened after clicking the item.

When you have this enabled, your theme now also shows the published date or the last modified date. This will be displayed where the template has this option available.

Having teams status enabled this icon gets displayed. 

This forces a refresh every x minutes of the list this search component is calling the items from.
